Hey all, I hope you can help me with my problem:

I'm currently running on a PC computer, 150 GB HD, 512 MB RAM, 2.4 GHz. I use Premiere Elements to edit. I filmed an interview and some footage on a Panasonic DVX100A camera. I normally film on my Sony Handycam and capture everything just fine onto my computer. However, when I try to capture my footage with the DVX, I run into some problems. My editing program doesnt seem to be able to recognize the camera very well, it wont capture the footage and the program seems to run sluggishly. I restarted my computer several times and was able to capture some footage in, but got error messages throughout saying I had drop frames and encoutered a recording error. I really don't understand why one camera would cause my computer to go haywire. Can anyone help?

Thanks a lot.

- Ken
