which s/w would be my best option for capturing and editing 720p/25fps video from JVC GY101E camera.

oops.......forgot to mention these:

1. have Avid Xpress Pro 5.7.2 - cannot capture
2. FCP 4.5 HD - cannot capture, n couldnt upgrade this mac (maybe g3)
3. Premiere Pro 2 - does support but the prog just shuts down when I click the capture button, n due to some reasons, couldnt install CS3

so wht r my options??

can CapDVHS capture from JVC-HD101E? or any other option....?

As the video format changest, the software changes to meet the
needs of movie makers. I suspect you will have to upgrade your software.
