I just bought myself a Canon 550D as a starting point to expand from as I have never had a HDSLR before. Im currently using final cut studio 2 however the footage appears too fast even tho its shot in 1080 25fps which is the same settings Im using to edit :/

Is there a codec you need for it to run smooth or am I just using the wrong settings? And in which case what are the best settings to use baring in mind Im from the UK and shoot in PAL format?
