1. Which is the more professional product out of these two -- Liquid Pro or XPress Pro?
2. Can Liquid Pro handle DVCPRO HD like Xpress Pro?
I haven't tried Liquid Edition since Avid bought it, but I did have the last Pinnacle version and it's the only software on my PC that could make it spontaneously reboot. It also liked to eat my Mozilla bookmarks even if it rebooted normally... XP would complain about the disk being corrupt after rebooting and then delete the bookmarks as a corrupt file.
That said, some people rave about it, I've no idea how they avoid the constant crashes and disk-trashing. I was real glad when Avid released their HDV support for Xpress Pro HD and I was able to dump Liquid Edition for good.
