I have to take some dialogue and make it sound like it's coming from the other end on a cell phone. Any ideas?
What program are you using? This can probably apply to any program but in Premiere add an EQ effect to the audio and in it play around with the bass, mids, and treble. You'll want to lower the bass and treble a lot and also of course the volume a little. Also are you from the Matt Hawkins forum?
Thanks for the tip with Premiere. I'll try it out. I'm also using Sony Sound Forge 8.0. And no, I'm not from the Matt Hawkins forum.
I'll let you know how it works.
Thanks!!!
From what I remember, cell phones cut off all frequencies above 4kHz and have crappy bass response, so cutting off high and low frequencies should be fairly effective.
I tried looking in Premiere, but I'm a complete newbie when it comes to audio. Under the EQ there isn't any bass or treble. Do you know the exact properties I should edit?
