hi
software Adobe 1.5
When i move a scene in the trimline it will auto delete what even i put tht scene onto. (then i have to press ctrl+z to bring bak the deleted scenes)

I want to move the scene so it automatically fits in between two scenes.
Do you understand? How do you do this? THanks

To insert a clip with out overlaping hold down CTRL while draging the clip next to the other clip.

thanks for your reply, do you know how i can make the timeline auto fit?
example, when i trim a scene the scene wont auto connect to the scene next to it, the scene will just sit there with a gap to where the undeleted scene was.

That's because you have the magnet tool off. Look at the top left of timeline. Click it on and that should fix your problem
