Can any explain to me what the difference between A/B editing versus the regular editing workspaces are? I am going from Premiere 6.0 to Pro, and pro doesn't have that A/B workspace, that I have seen. So, although I have Premiere experience, I feel like I'm starting all over.

There's not really that much difference, it's basically just that everything is merged into one track and transitions use extra frames before or after the cut point as appropriate. I had to get used to it when switching from Premiere to Avid, and it really didn't take long.
