Hi I have been writing a script for a new batman movie, which takes place five years after the events of "The Dark Knight", The Film features the Riddler in all his glory, but I've designed him so he does'nt take away from heath ledgers performance but actually adds on to it, Joker himself will not actually appear, nor will any of the other characters from THe Dark Knight, with exception to The Mayor and Jim Gordon, and ScareCrow. The Script has not been finished but the overview and character have, the reason for this is that I am trying to find a decent filmmaker who will help bring the film to live, someone who can handle the organisation of special effects, casting, and locations. They will not need to worry about the story or time lines as have taken the liberty to carefully research all of that for the script, I am a quick writer and the only thing I want in exhange for the script is a part in the credits, the knowledge that the film will look farely proffesional and a free copy of the film, and if the director/producer wants to use my project for a paid film, I would like to have a letter of reference so I can use it in my resume for future film projects,

Here is my e-mail and a quick description of the film

I like the idea. I have three questions for you:

When will the script be finished? You say you are a quick writer - can you have the script finished by the end of August?
Who will pay for the production of the movie?

Hi I have currently suspended writing of the script, as although it is a good story I want to know that it is going to be used, before I spend any more time on it, but the overview has been finished so who ever wants to use it has a idea on what it is about,

Now finished by end of august, Well I write every day, so probably, but I would rather spend the extra time give or take a 1 - 2 more months so everything is absolutelly perfect, on saying that I should stress again that I can have then story finsihed bye end of august if someone wants to use it.

As for paying for production, I'm afraid I won't be filling that position, that will be the job of who ever organises the cast, special effects team, so on, I just want to be acknowledged for the script not making the movie, saying that I would like to have some input into the clothe design and weapon design, but ultimately as long as it does'nt completelly take away from the script that will be the directors decision.

I hope this helps.

For a writer, your grammar and spelling's pretty shoddy. And why would you write a batman script, knowing full well those licenses are tied up by warner brothers? smells like a scam.
