If you are an indie filmmaker and looking for a rural shooting location (on a budget), there is a great location available to use. We're located in north central Illinois (approx 2 hrs from Chicago). The property is privately owned and includes a historic farmhouse, barns, chicken coop, and creek. It is in a rather isolated rural location, so it is ideal for shooting without worrying about "white noise", and there is plenty of privacy. It also has a great "spooky" atmosphere and ambiance perfect for a horror type film (if that's your thing).
