My name is Fred Deer and I am a film composer based in the UK.

I am keen to support the next generation of Film makers, Directors, and Producers from around the World

I would like to work with you as you grow and to provide support throughout your career in any way possible. To do this I am willing to give free help and support to new film makers, producers or directors on a royalty free no obligation basis. All I ask is that you allow me to put your film in my portfolio and consider me for further work.

I am web based so the projects I work on can come from all over the World. My musical style varies from Orchestral to Rock, from Ethnic to Electronic. Whatever the genre of film I can write the perfect music to match.

I have a first class honors degree in Music Production and I have just been awarded the Sony Award for best new UK composer.

The film 'Letting Go' was written by Kevin Alexander as a tribute for Jennifer Lynne Persia who was killed in 1996 and whose killer has never been brought to justice. I wrote the score as a favour to him and to help keep Jennifers case alive in people minds. (It is also available on iFilm, Atom Film and Youtube).
