Go on holiday, shoot a movie! ?:)?

The Holiday Movie Company offers film making experience holidays for novice film makers but are open to all, coached by experienced film makers (ex BBC, etc). Our first film holiday is in Provence, France, based at a lovely chateau. We will be making a ghost drama film inspired by one of the works of M.R. James. We use professional equipment and will be working with a professional actor and a supporting amateur cast. Our special guest on the holiday is Sir Simon Marsden, the world famous infrared photographer (www.marsdenarchive.com). The dates are from the 4th of June to the 18th of June 2011. Places are limited to 10 persons so you will need to book now to avoid disappointment! See our website for further details:

Due to customer feedback there are now two options for the holiday available to help you with the cost, plus not committing you to two weeks (unless that is what you want). The whole film will still take two weeks to shoot but we will split the production into two (one week each). Each week needs ten people to operate effectively, and each group of ten will produce one half of the total film. By coming for a week you will still be able to direct a set number of scenes, plus choose whatever rle you want to do in the film crew (such as camera, sound, etc). Likewise you will still get the benefit of Sir Simon Marsden's guest appearance, which ever week you choose. All twenty guests will get credited on the final edited film. However, you can still do the whole two weeks if you wish. The new prices below are still for the filming activity only.

Prices:

1,350 for one week
2,400 for two weeks, which is a discounted price (original cost was 2,800)

The prices of the accommodation at La Loubiere remain the same but obviously if you choose to stay for one week the price will be half the advertised cost.
Therefore, to help give you an idea of the total expenditure, here are the approximate total additional costs of the holiday based on someone coming from Europe and using a budget airline (shared accommodation, sharing car hire, food/drinks (based on 28 a day), and air fare):

Circa 700 for one week (to add on to the price of the filming activity)
Circa 1,400 for two weeks (to add on to the price of the filming activity)
