My first post here!!
I have been making movies for many years but, shamefully, still with analogue shoulder-mount cameras. Having moved to DV only recently (not before time!) I found that tiny DV cams were just about impossible to hand hold so being a DIY person I decided to make some rigs that would help my filmmaking.
Commercial stuff has ridiculous prices so I thought I would share my diy page with others. These all work well and are practical AND cost me no more than $50 to build. In fact my latest matte box cost a mere $3.76 and started life as a plant pot in the hardware store.

Hope these ideas can assist others. I'm happy to answer questions but NO I don't make these for sale!! It's up to you to build them yourself!!
