Hi Aspiring Mogul,
If the video captures my interest, I'd be willing to work on a small percentage of sales/licensing fees it may generate. Also, any public performances (TV/film) I'd expect to be reported to my PRO (ASCAP) for possible royalties.
If none of the above is in your plans, I would expect a couple DVD's to use as credit references.
I just finished the soundtrack for a video about the brain. It was most interesting and inspiring. The work was rewarding in itself.
I have work I've been paid well for and work I've done for free. It depends on a variety of factors, most importantly is if the film/video inspires me.
Best, John ?8D?

Aspiring Mogul, I would consider any arrangements. If you have a short clip/scene from the film, I could give you a sample of my work using it. Feel free to contact me through my email.
Best, John 🙂

I don't have any films, and I'm only starting to gather my thoughts together. As I had said, I was thinking of waiting until 2015 before I started, but, with everyone's kind encouragement, I'm seriously thinking of moving my schedule up to maybe two or three years. The problem is that I have to ride out the recession, and I also have to clear my head.
Where do you reside?
Hi A M,
I'll keep my profile on this site. When you're ready, you can PM me. As long as I'm not in the middle of a George Lucus or Tim Burton film (ha, ha), I'll be available.
I'm an East Coast man (about two hours from NYC).
Best, John

No takers yet? I'd consider working for free with the right film project.

Just posted some new tracks. Also, not all film projects require those big orchestrations. I can customize all music to fit the scene. Send me a clip and I'll demonstrate.
Best, John 🙂

I added a track (When Love Was Really Love) to my list to demonstrate my softer romantic side for those that are looking for such tracks.
