You've all heard it before, and yes, I'm yet another composer wanting to score music for films!?:)?
Last year (2005) I won two awards for seperate compositions, both of which were performed professionally. I've just completed my first paid film for a project based in Manchester (15 minutes of music) but am willing to score for free (at the moment)
I have both my Grade 8 Trumpet and Piano (ABRSM) with distinction and have also attained my Grade 8 Music Theory. I'm currently the Composer in Residence for the Lancashire Sinfonietta and have numerous paid commissions lined up for both professional and amateur groups in 2006.
I am a experienced user of Sibelius 4, Cubase SX, Reason and other common music applications and I use Kontakt Player Gold for score mockups, and the EWQLSO sample library for final productions.
I would love to get involved in any new productions and am always willing to send out samples (I can provide quick mockups of ideas for films if preferred)

I have completed a musical play and need someone to write the music. I have someone to write the lyrics who has completed one song. I can e-mail it to you so that you can get a sense of the play. I need to know if you feel you can handle composing music for eighteen songs. It's a big project so think long and hard about it and let me know. I can assure you that I have an excellent concept but I need good musice to move the story line along. Are you interested? Please advise

Yes I would like to be involved but I am fairly busy and would obviously need more info about the project such as storyline, style required, performers/forces, etc. before I could commit myself.

Hi Dan, if you would be interested in scoring original music for Ginger In The Dark & Ginger In The Dark II, please let me know. Both films are ready and exist, but require original music to be sent to film-festivals. I'm looking for a style similar, ish, to the music that is already used.
