I am getting an XL1S and I have no idea what types/kinds of lenses/filters they have are the best to use in making a small indie film. I was wondering if anybody could give me an idea how those two things can help, or if I should just ignore them alltogether.
Thanks to anybody that can help!
My advice for you,
Canon XL1 only has about 4 or 5 different lenses to choose from. I would personally choose the Manual Lense, Get a Focus pulling ring and top it off with a Film Quality Matte Box. That will give you the Highest quality I have seen out of an XL1s.
As fare as Filters, Id say you will want a UV Filter, a few grades of ND's, and Polorized Filter. and Maybee even a Pro mist Filter for the more "Dream" like scenes.
This is just my advice.
