compared to Premier/FCP/AVID-Express, which are at least in the 600+ range, why is Vegas so much cheaper? i'm thinking of buying a copy, but before i do i want to know if it has the options compared to at least Premier.

i have never used vegas but i have with premiere. premire is pretty much then next step down, for pc at least, to avid(although avid is way ahead of premire by far) premire has good features like rotoscoping if you wanna do like starwars paradies or just cool effects. I dont know much about vegas though sorry so really this post is no use wow im dumb
