WHERE TO SEND A SCRIPT

Does anybody out there know where the best place to send a script to get viewed???
I'm only just about to start the first draft, but would be grateful for any info.

Before you do anything with your script (send it to an editor or send it out anywhere etc.) get copyrights!

Pretty much all studios dont accept unsolicited material.

There are plenty of people/companies that offer script reading services, but be careful as many of them are sharks. Get in touch with the Writer's Guild of America (or your local equivilent if you're not Stateside) and get them to gove you a list of a) agents who work with new writers, and b) readers who are rupetable.

Don't even think about sending an unsolicited script to a production company... at best they will return it unread, and worst they will steal your idea and change it just enough that you can't sue them for it.
