As I said, I'm thinking of finding a dilapidated warehouse to convert into a studio - that's more fun than a summer cottage, quite frankly - so can you give some thoughts on what makes a studio? Any reference books or specialists in studio design?
At least one large area with high ceilings and some kind of grid. The more sound proofing the better.
Make up rooms.
Dressing rooms.
Equipment staging area.
Greenroom with kitchen.
Catering area.
Restrooms.
Office space.
Rehearsal space.
Prop and set storage.
At least 400AMPS house power.
Large loading door
Air Conditioning and Heating
A few smaller stages - greenscreen, photo shoots.
If possible a few standing sets like a bedroom, bathroom, jail cell
