Just joined today to find out some info for some things that are on my mind.
But firstly I want to say that I am considering working mainly with my rc car because its cheaper to work with and its my hobby lol.

Ok well I?m mainly wondering how to create effects then are normally seen in car movies, referring to 2 fast 2 furious and some Tokyo drift scenes where some bits look a bit animated unless their real.

but in conjunction with my rc car ( but I wont be able to do something like that until I get some skill lol)
I wanted to make a frame where the camera can be placed at different places so I can concentrate on different areas of the car such as the wheel arches/ tyres and front of the car so get different point of views? but a guess it?s a bit hard to do at the moment.

so recently I am looking for software that I can use to create awesome scenes and looking for a good software that can create something like ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uiz7pfuCayM&mode=related&search=) << this.

I?ve heard of all the software like 3d studio max , maya and cinema pro but confused on which one to use or buy , I think I can get my hands on some of these programs by using the computers at my college . But I don?t know where to start really, I know what effects I want, but haven?t really got up and done anything.

* oh yea is blender a ok program to use to do animations seen on that you tube vid?
so maybe you guys might know where to begin and stuff and what programs to deal with.
also I?m not really worried about learning, infact I wont really mind it at least I?m learning something lol.
