Hi
Does anyone know how to achieve a vintage cinema look without resorting to using a vintage camera?
If you can help tell me as much info as you can.

Thanks?:(??:)?

Well, there are various 'old film' filters for editing programs, but I've yet to see one that's very convincing.

if you are using premeire on a pc inside of the video filters there is a quicktime filter. apply it and then look through the filter settings in the filter settings box and you can find one that will add scratches, hair and such. you will have to customize the size, intensity, durations and stuff to make it believable, but it is doable. i have used it and it looks pretty good. i am quite certain the fcp would have a similar filter but i have just switched platfoms and have yet to navigate through all the fiters.

hope this helps.

yes that is an adobe product. again, the 'quicktime' filter is apears to be one filter but is actually a large packet of filters that can be edited once you apply the main filter. it is a bit tricky but kick it around a bit and you should be able to figure it out.
