Why does the video look so great on my lcd but when i transfer to my pc it looks dark and pixilated. im using fire wire and i have a video in card and both ways i get same results. what can i do. also could anyone tell me a good cheap cam for shooting video in darkness with out using nightvision.

You're not using digital zoom are you?? Cause that can make it look bad on the PC, but still good on the LCD..

Don't trust the image that you see on your computer. Your computer monitor settings are different and will darken the image. If this is a problem for you and you have money, invest in a video monitor so you can see your rendered footage EXACTLY as it will look when outputted to video.
