I'm going to be shooting some pictures soon, and I toyed with the Super 8 idea. That of shooting it with a super 8, recording the sound on a seperate mixer, then having the film transfered to miniDV and putting it all together in Premiere.

HOWEVER...I'm now thinking it'd be much cheaper, and more worry-free to use VHS. I'd like to get a couple of older VHS camcorders (not digital) and shoot the picture onto those.

Does anyone have any tips? Besides "don't do it" because I'm pretty set on doing it this way. I just want to know what tips are out there. Thanks in advance!!?:o)?
