Welcome to filmmaking.net!

The good news is you don't need a degree at all in order to get
into film directing. Much better than any degree is several, finished.
award winning films you have directed.

So my advice is to direct movies. Direct as many as you can to build
your experience and skill level. You live in the country that makes
more movies than even the US, working on film sets is also a great
education and a way to make contacts.

Check out these threads about film schools.
