As a person completely new to scriptwriting and shopping a script and such, can I get the boards thoughts on treatments. Have you ever completed one to shop your idea? Is writing a treatment a good way to construct a script? I'd like to hear ideas/thoughts about treatments.

Thanks a bunch.

Treatments are a must for any script, without them you will just get lost and your script will be worse for it.

ALWAYS WRITE A TREATMENT!!!

A treatment will also most likely be necessary if you are trying to raise any development finance to write the script.
