Hi, doing a dramatic short where I have a couple of tight shots on a pocket watch. They all seem to have their company names on the faces. What are the rules for this?

That said, ultimately it depends on what you want to do with the film. If you're seeking any form of commercial distribution, then most companies will require you to clear the use of any trademarks in the film. Festivals are normally less fussy, but mainly because their T&Cs usually push liability back to the filmmaker.
