hi
my name is puru and iam from nepal. iwant to open a small independent production house that will produce independent films of length not exceeding 30 mins. i had gone to bennington colege to study filmmaking but had to return in the middleof term as i became ill. at this moment iam at zero both fincialy and technically.if anything binds me with filmmaking then that is just my passion and burning desire for movies. at the moment i am just expecting to have a video camera , computer tripod stands , reflector , and very few lightings. but its sad back in the US i spent all my money on cigarettes and medicine. also on education where i just completed a semester. iam broke now and working as techer in nepal and trying to save evry penny to open a production house .. am i realistic?is there anyother way?pls help. i have even thought abt my first movie. i have called it the Myth of Sisyphus-retold - its going to deal with ongoing maoist revolution in the country unemployment and the youth -but it will have an essence of CAmus and Satre ..iam onto existentialism.....please help if u can ... please. iam like one of u fanatic film fan who cannot think anything else than movies .for the beginners ihave started with teach yurself series on filmamkingand i got to know abt the site from there thank you
