Hey All
I'm going to be writing something about on the lot for the www.wildcardpictures.com website and I'm wondering what filmmakers and non-filmmakers think of the new ON THE LOT show.
Will it be the new American Idol? And ruin or help out (whatever take you have) the industry?
Are filmmakers submitting there shorts?
I'm curious because right now I don't know how to feel.

Around my friends film school and my fellow film makers at my university there is quite a buzz about the show. Almost everyone I know (including myself) is submitting films to it with the hope of gaining some national exposure. I am not sure how popular the show will be, I would love to watch film production but somehow i doubt the rest of America will.
If nothing else, I would just like to know that Steven Spielberg has seen one of my films.
