Hey all!
Myself and a friend are in full time education and want to get experience at film-making. We have a fantastic script nearly ready for a 10-15 minute film, and we are about to begin storyboarding. I've done a year of Media Studies which has taught me a limited amount of pre and post production, but nothing heavy. My friend is untrained completely.
So we have the barest of bare bones at the moment, and would appreciate advice, hints, tips, things to remember etc from anyone willing to give a bit of verbal support!
Thanks all.

A fantastic script is a great start!
Advice: Spend as much time and effort on the sound as you do on the picture.
Hint: treat you cast and crew with appreciation and respect. Have a clear schedule and stick to it - feed them well - remember they are doing YOU a favor be donating their time.
Tip: Use lighting well - back light is very important.
Thing to remember: it's just a movie, and your first one. Have fun.
