Im trying to find as much information on Stereoscopic imagery. Recently i've been very interested in making 3D images myself. I was hoping maybe somebody out there can let me know about any websites or books i should look at for more information on this topic. Mainly how it works and how it can be done yourself.

I understand how 3d "images" work, but 3d "movies" is awhole different thing. Is there a low-budget/independent technique one can use to make a 3d movie? I have thought of my own ideas of how i can make my own 3d movies with visual effects which i will try soon. But so far there just theories, i was hoping someone out there who knows a lot of 3d imaging can help me find more information about this stuff.
