ok, so iv decided. i want to be a film maker, im going to make a film. first im starting with a series of shorts. the premis is a porno with no sex or nudity. basically actors act out classic porn scenarios (pizza boy, lonely house wife etc.) but the scenes never culminate to sex, instead the ending is something that would happen in the real world. Its a film poking fun an pornos without the use of sex or nudity. as of now the film is in "pre-production": script writting.

As for what im filming, I will be using classic super 8. Ideally I want to edit this by hand, razor blade and tape style, but before I give that a try I will make come reproductions to ensure that if I mess up i can still transfer to high def. and edit in final cut pro.

I will be making the music myself using my home studio and and old 4 track.

ok now onto my my question. has anyone here worked seriously with super 8, and if so have they edited by hand?

oh and once all the scenes are compiled and made one series of shorts it will be called "a very canadian porno".
