My roommate and I have a bet goin- Can someone please tell me what the standard frames per second are in NTSC?

I think it's 29.97 frames per second.

Yeah, my roommate here at Emerson keeps telling me its 35, I keep telling him its either 29.97 or 30. Thanks.

35 mm runs at 35 fps? or do u mean he was just thinking "35" like 35mm?

i meant the latter. film (like 35m) in North America runs at 24frames.
