Ive been reading this book on Digital Film makeing. Theres a chapter in the book about building your editing system. And ive been looking around and for awhile was not sure if i should go with a Win base computer with AP , or go with a Mac with FCP. Ive been leaning towords the Mac. But this book says you can buy standalone digital eiditors. one one in the book is Draco Casablanca. Anyone know anything about this?

stand alone systems cost a lot of money. Go with a mac if thats what ur leaning towards. I love PCs but macs support both Avid and final cut pro which are the two industry standards.
