I made this short while I was in highschool and I just want to know what anybody thinks about it? It's nothing great, it's just a funny small short, with a hole lot of Aluminum Foil. We filmed it in about 5 days. Quality is kind of bad, but it's you get the point.

I've seen worse :). The robot looks like the one I played in a 16mm short when I was twelve, though more sophisticated... ours was just cardboard boxes painted silver, without the fancy tin-foil exterior :).

You seemed to get the 'pretending to be shaken around and falling over' thing pretty well, but it really needed more girls in short skirts for the real 'Star Trek' feeling :).

Thanks for responding! I would'a had girls in it, but this was a 2-week competition. We weren't going to enter it, but my Media Teacher, forced me to enter it with only 4 days left to go. So me and my twin brother built the set the first day(wrote the script that night which we only used as an outline), filmed most of day two and three, and spent almost all of day 4 editing. It was way fun though. I remember jokingly telling the judges: The only difference between our regular weekend, and the one before the film competition, was the camera. 🙂

- Most of it was inspired by Ed Woods "Plan Nine from Outer Space".
