I am fifteen years old and I have just started filming. I made a 30-minute film about four months ago, and I had enough sound effects lying around to make it sound good. However on my current film I have come across some scenes where I need sounds that I don?t have (exe. Human skull against wood, various gunshots, evil genius computer hum). I am recording with a Sony Handycam, and my editor is Pinnacle 8. Does anyone have a suggestion on an affordable ($100 and below) sound effect software/archive?
There are tons of CD's that containe sound effects, I'd also check out sounddogs.com, that's where I go if I need a quick sound effect. You can also try making them yourself.

Just to kind of piggy back off this topic, I've got some footage that I used the onboard camera mic to record sound with. It ended up recording all the sound in the area; i.e. dialoge, wind, cars, the leather on the camera strap, the cameraman's breathing... Is there any software(under$100) I could use to save the dialoge without reshooting?
