Hey, I just wanted to know what you guys think of my most recent film. Just wanted some opinions on what you liked, what you didn't, and what I could of done better. Thanks.

MOVIE INFORMATION
Brief Summary - An extraordinary garbage man from the city of Pittsburgh strives to rid the world of pollution after a tragic loss. Follow on his exciting adventure, which he only sees as a normal day in his life.

Film Festival - This film was created for the SciTech C.A.U.S.E. 2007 High School Film Festival. The theme of the festival was "The Environment and You". The theme we decided to choose to make a film about was pollution.

About the film - Are film features a "garbage man" superhero, fighting off any pollution in his path. The film is meant to be "different", so keep that in mind while watching.

your in highschool? its a good start. Timing is off. i didnt quite get why the camera moved 3 times in the still shot of the closet. i cant really tell if your supposed to be the director, writer, or actor, but i wouldnt count on being the last two...

Its really great to see this kind of work coming out of American high schools. The equivilent in Ireland (Secondary schools) just hasn't really embraced practical filmmaking. What output there is, is not of this quality. Anyway.....

The closet scene didn't work. You went for a stop motion effect and the camera moved between shots, plus the edit was too slow. In other parts of the piece, you appear to "cross the line" and corresponding shots don't match up. I think I also picked up some hand noise on the camera.

I always give this advice to young filmmakers, so here I go again...Relax on the fancy computer graphics or at least dedicate the same creative ethic to learning the basics of filmmaking technique. Ive seen so many productions start off with very promising graphics and music only for the piece to reveal itself as very poor in terms of camera work and editing. Software may be cheap and easy these days, but the craft of filmmaking still has to be learned. (this is a general point and not solely directed at this production)

But well done and keep at it.
