guys i just got a job as a script supervisior, the entire crew know i ve never done continuity before but with the budget, and my ..i suppose passion for the project, they dont mind and even want to throw in a crash course on for me.
thing is, i realy want to see this project succeed and while my post is not that big a deal - it really is that big a deal when you think of the details involved.
so i m asking anyone out there thats supervised before on what are all those lines drawn all over the script what does 'lined script pages' and 'description pages' really mean?
i know the crash course will come along, but i dont want to mess it up, and wouldnt mind some prior info
thanx?:)?

The scripty is one of the two most important people on a set. I've never done it - there is no way I have the attention to detail needed - but as a director and editor I have worked closely with them.

Here are a few pages of a marked script by a very good, very experienced scripty. I've worked with her on eight movies. She has saved my ?$$ on set and in the editing room too many times to mention. Good luck! It's a very difficult job to do right.
