Hey Everyone, Im Danny, and im part of a filmmaking group called own3d studios. so, when i speak, i speak for all of us.

we are 8th grade students, and i dont know about them, but i would like to persue a career in film. ive alwayed loved making movies scince i was little, and im really just getting into it now.
i plan yo attend NYU when i graduate highschool and get a job (i hope ?:)?)
anyway, even though its not even a job, i am SWAMPED
i direct, edit, produce, fund, and shoot all of my movies, so i got alot of stuff to do. i barely find time to skate haha.

ANYWAY, enough about me, time to go to my question...

i recently purchest MAGIX MOVIE EDIT PRO 12, because i read online reveiws that it was good. and it is. but...

whenever i import any footage into it, its expremely laggy, like it skips every 2 second, and i dont know why. it does NOT do this for the sample footage the program provides, so i was just wondering if anyone knew what i could do to stop this LAGACITY...?(is that even a word???:p?)

thnkssss peace

Is the video you imported the same format as the sample videos? DV, etc?
