Ok...so looking to get myself a prosumer pro camera. looking for the best deals trying to save some cash, and came along this website

the deals are ridicoulous. Canon xh a1 for $1200!
theres gotta be drawback here. for example when i was getting my first camera, we ordered from a site...the cheapest i coudl find. and the total was way differnet then first thought, they said 6-10 weeks for delivey and they said its shipping from china. i cancelled that rigth away.
does anyone have experience buying from here? any one know deals? or does anyone have a camera they wanna sell?
any info will help.

Many retail outlets fulfill their orders directly through manufacturing facility. Very often, when you order an iPod, MacBook, iMac or similar, it ships to you straight from China, yet it is an original Apple product, and you ordered it directly from the Apple.com store.
As for your store (smartchoicecameras.com), I have never used them. Do some googling on this, you might find some reviews and comments.
If you can get a Canon HX-A1 for so little I would advice you to jump straight on it personally, how ever I am myself looking at a Entry level Sony HDR-1000E which is a very basic camera that performs very well for the purpose that I need it for.
You might decide to go with some thing completely different though, in which case I wish you all the best, Cleary.
