Hi!
I would like to have short Film Making (not production) courses in Sydney in the evening. Do you have any advice? I don't know which one is well recognized.
Thanks in advance!?:)?

I'm sorry, I don't have an answer to your question, but I suggest that you pose it on a forum like Cinematography.com which has a few Australians who post there. 🙂
I am curious though what a "filmmaking" course that does NOT involve "production" involve? What are you seeking to learn from the formal education environment that does not revolve around physical production?

Thanks for your answer. By Production, I mean my understanding about what is required to produce a short film (Cover funding applications, budgets, production scheduling, cast and crew management, marketing and distributing).
For the moment,I am more looking for short courses about how to tell a story in moving images through timing, pace and drama. Find out how to turn ideas to reality. Examine the role of actors, production design, music, sound, lighting and editing.
Thanks for your answer, I will have a look into other forums.
