I'm not a professional "yet" but I know a few writers and they use them. I use "page 2 stage" software that I downloaded on their website. I hope I answered your question good luck

I use Final Draft, which is (at least according to their marketing blurb) used by a lot of professional writers. There are a number of other 'professional' script-writing programs I've heard of, but haven't used. There are also a number of free programs on the web now, some of which are starting to look quite good...

Certainly it's a better idea that using a standard word processor, because it deals with all the formatting automatically and eliminates one of the major excuses for not writing.

I use Final Draft 7, I'm not a professional though...The BBC provide an excellent little macro for MS Word (all types), it's just about as good as Final draft to be honest, you only really need to know who to set it out.

You can get it free from http://www.bbc.co.uk/writersroom/scriptsmart/index.shtml

Hope it helps ?:)?

Final Draft 7. There's no comparison.
