Hello..
I am looking for feedback in trying to decide whether to accept admission offers from either Ryerson or York for film.
I have heard that Ryerson will offer me the best education-hands on experience - number of films, etc.
However, I have also heard that York will allow me to pursue not only film making but also other areas of interest (writing, music performance, politics, etc). I have not been able to find my York Film students who are happy with their program.
I have also heard that I will likely meet far more people at York than Ryerson.
Any input on this obviously major decision would be greatly appreciated.

maybe think about sheridan.
its only an 8 month program, and i think is just as well regarded as RYE for its technical aspects. if you don't know much about the theory, i recommend YORK and learn the hands on stuff by joining LIFT or something.

I've spoken to several Canadians when I did my research into film education, and apparently Ryerson is the most well respected in the industry. I know nothing about Toronto as I'm from the UK, but it's what I have heard. Am also looking into schools, but Ryerson is mega pricey for international students and very long.
