many times cruising through the web, i have seen indenpendent filmmakers creating their very own posters for movies that look very much real.

I was wondering what program you would ideally use, and some basic steps as to how to do it.

I've borrowed Photoshop from a friend, but it seems so complex, I have no idea what I'm doing. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I use a program called "Print Master 12" (which I got at Staples for $10 CAN). You can take digital Pictures or frame grabs and put them on posters, as well as titles credits, release dates...ect. Then , you just save it and print it, put it on a web site, or whatever else you can think of. ?:)?

Can you put more than one picture on a poster in that program?

Yes Indeed, you can put as many pictures as you want. You can also Edit pictures and make things other than posters. The program is a little bit complicated though, so if you deciede to get it and have any questions, feel free to ask me.

Ok

I'm gonna go do a search and see if I can find a trial edition or something. I'm sure I'll have some questions, so check back often ?:)?.

I use Photoshop 7. Its very complex but ive been uning it for years so the complexity isint really a problem anymore and its is the most powerful system around for creting images of any kind.

Alternatively, if you're poor, download The Gimp from www.gimp.org. I haven't missed Photoshop since installing it, though I don't do anything especially fancy.

AFAIR there's also a version around which is specially optimised for movie use, though I don't remember where to find it.
