Hello, My name is Jim Veiss

I am a novice sound designer trying to get into post production. I am almost done with production and engineering school at IPR in minneapolis/MN, and have learned a lot.

I write here to ask anyone that's willing to to share their experiences getting into the business and making steady income. What do you wish you would have known in the beginning? what were the hardest things you had to overcome? what if anything was a "rude awakening". Any advice for post production in general is much appreciated.
