I want to buy a new camera, and i'm willing to spend 1200 on one, is this camera any good. I'll tell you the truth, I don't know much about the "technical" part of what to look for in a camera. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Also, I'm trying to produce low-bugdet films, would this be the camera I'm looking for? I'm familiar with the Panasonic AG-DVC7, if that helps at all. Thanks!
