At the New York Film Academy they have various 4,6, and 8 week workshops that deal with topics such as 16 mm filmmaking, editing, screenwriting, directing, acting and other things. My question is do you have to apply and get accepted--like you would say if you wanted to go to USC and study film, or if you were perhaps a kid who wanted to go to Harvard to study law. Or, do you simply just give the NY Film Academy your $5,000 or $10,000 and your automatically in (you don't have you be accepted, you just pay the money.) The web site is www.nyfa.com.
