I'm strongly considering applying for the Drama program at Humber College. I was going to go with The Toronto Film School, but after reading what some had to say about TFS on here, I think I'll pass (are they really that bad?) Have any of you attended Humber College for their Drama program? I'm interested in knowing what their class size is like. I'm interested in finding a school with professors who are down-to-earth and unpretentious with real-life experience. What are people who studying drama like? Do they range in age, are they fake and already think they've made it in Hollywood? Or are they down to earth and really interested in better their skills? If I don't study drama, I'm studying law. My passion is in acting, but I have so many questions about it....Anyway,thank you in advance for your help. I appreciate it.
I could be wrong but I don't think there are many actors on this board. As I can tell you will mostly find the crew viewpoint around here.
Don't get me wrong though, I think it would be great to have an actors view on things, especially casting, so you are welcome to hang around, just don't take it personally if the response to your question is limited.

Well, no professional actors, but we've all been on the other side of the camera, that should count.
And I am sure I'm not the only one on here who started out in theater then progressed to filmmaking.
And you know, it really fails me as to why people have to STUDY drama. You can either act or you can't. If you can't its not like $40,000 and a degree is going to change that.
So my question for Sir Buzzkill is WHY STUDY DRAMA?
