I'm new to the forums and new to video. I've spent a lot of years in still photography, which only give me some basic insight into video with respect to the camera functions, but I'm looking for any resources that might be helpful. I just picked up an EX3 and updated to CS4 Master Collection, so I'll be using Premiere Pro for editing. I'm looking at putting together an instructional DVD for a hobby that I've been involved in for a lot of years. One area where I could use a little help, for example, is some recommendations for storyboard software. I'm trying to lay out some storyboards, but I'm hopelessly pathetic at drawing anything useful. I'm hoping to get some recommendations from people that have foudn anything that's simple and useful. I don't mind spending money if it's really worth it.
Another area where I can use some advice is how to create graphics for title and other purposes. I have some experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and other programs, but I'm not big on flash or other software for GIFs and Flash files. I would like to learn how to make these graphics to use in the videos, but don't know where to start.
Links to resources that would be useful would also be very apprciated.
I suspect Premier has tools to create moving titles built right in. Final Cut does and they have a very similar feature set.

Welcome to filmmaking.net, ForReelz!
I never storyboard so can't help you there. And I
don't use Premiere so I can't help you there either.
sorry.
