Well, in order to make the world war II movie be as good as possible we are going to have to delay it till spring however that is not really the topic towards which i am aksing questions.
This winter my "studio" will be filming a modern murder mystery. Now we have a set and a ton of actors my question is where would we get certain props and stuff needed. Such as a sherrif's outfit, a sherrif vehicle, and/or misc. other things.
Also so a character has a tattoo is there a way to make a realistic looking tattoo that lasts for a little while without getting a real one?
Costumes like a Sheriff's uniform can be rented at costume shops. Vehicles can be rented from picture car rental houses. Check prop rental houses for things like props and set dressing.
For tattoo's you will want to make a stencil. There are various inks like Henna that you can use that will last for one or two weeks.

what is a picture car rental place?
Vehicles like cop cars, ambulances, vintage cars, limos, busses even tanks and airplanes are called "picture" vehicles. It's a way to differentiate them from transportation vehicles like limos, cars and busses that are used on a movie shoot but not on camera.
