Sup, I need some help, I'm gonna start filming in summer and I'm starting to prepare with the props and stuff now. If you could give me some sites that tell me how to make my own transportable blue/green screen or other props that would really help me? or if you guys know some tricks yourself i would be happy to know?

There is a basic video tutorial here, made from card:

Hi Henry,
I've been a propmaker and effects creator in theatre, film, themeparks etc for twenty years. If you want any advice, for what it's worth, let me know what you are trying to do.

I want to create a mounatin background with stiraphone about 3m by 4m, how would I create the texture right and color?

You are an ambitious fellow
Props for that.
I've got special effects info if you need it. You can make a portable green screen out of pieces of plywood, or for that matter styrofoam.
What else do you need?
That's it! You people have stood in my way long enough! I'm going to clown college!

I also wanted to know how to make smoke/fog? I've heard of smoke cookies or something like that but I got no idea how to make it. And if you guys got some tips on shooting war scenes i could use some help on that too
H.A.
Well, the cheapest way is to make someone chain smoke in the background, or get a fog machine. Or you can get dry ice from a hospital. A fog machine or the drdy ice is your best bet methinks.

If you are filming a war movie you might want to search the web and find if there are any war reenactors in your area. Even if you have to travel a bit if they'll let you film you could get some good second unit stuff to fill out your pic. This is most likely if your film is WW2 but I understand other wars are represented you just may have to look farther afield.
In California we have a group that that has a German Tiger tank (one of the ones used in Private Ryan) an American Stewart tank and a Russian tank as well as half tracks and other toys. The history channel has had cameramen show up from time to time to shoot footage they can dump in any old show about WW2 (guess they got tired of the same clips).
Not much of a 'trick' but worth following up, depending upon the war of course.

Yeah, a tank would make my movie much better?:D?

You know, I could just go for a tank in general.
Sure the gas mileage sucks, but think of how easy parking would be!
