I have a PC but everyone says Macs are better for editing video. I thought about buying a macbook and using imovie or looking into getting final cut pro. Is Final Cut Pro worth the price? What kinds of things sets it apart from imovie or other basic editing software? Is it difficult for a noob to use?

I would say that Final Cut Pro is worth the price. It's harder to use then imovie but imovie doesn't let you do much. It's a little too simple.

I agree, Final Cut Pro is great, but if you already have a PC, maybe upgrading to a better software may make more sense than buying a new laptop (If it's only going to be used for editing). If you are looking into editing software's, check out eBay or some online retailer for
Avid Xpress Pro. It's well worth the price.
